Class Rooms

There are Twenty Eight Class rooms to accommodate the students. The Nursery Block consists of Eight rooms in a separate building,with the rest of the Twenty rooms in the Main Block. Five Class rooms are fully Digitalised. In addition to this, a specialized Audio-Visual Lab is also available.

Library, Lab and Computer Education

This institution has a very good collection of books and an excellent spacious library managed by a well qualified librarian to assist and encourage the students. There are also fully equipped labs for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science. With the help of the various languages and subjects clubs, the school ensures the all round development of the wards. For physical developments, we have Sports and Games managed by a well qualified staff to mould the wards. Yoga classes are also conducted by a trained Yoga instructor. Special Coaches for Chess & Band music are also available for the easy awakening of inborn talents of the students.Various other disciplines like Dance & Music etc. are also included in the curriculum.Special skills like Drawing, Painting, Needle Work, Craft etc. are also extended to kindle the aesthetic sense of the children.

Senior Secondary Classes

The Central Board of Secondary Education granted permission to start Senior secondary classes in April 2003. The following courses are offered at the +2 level. Science Group Group1. English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. Group2. English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Commerce Group Group1. English, Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics and Entrpreneurship Group2. English, Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics and Mathematics.

Medium of Instruction

Medium of Instruction is English. Malayalam and Hindi are introduced in Class I and Sanskrit in Class V. Students seeking admission in the Kinder- garten classes as well as in Class I have to produce Birth Certificate issued by the Panchayaths/Municipalities/ Corporations as the case may be. Students coming from other states must have their Transfer Certificate & Migration Certificates duly signed by the District Educational Officer.

Parents Teachers Association

PTA has been constituted to function for the well-being of the school as well as wards. The PTA meeting is held to discuss the progress of the wards & development of the institution at regular intervals.


After each terminal examination there will be very short vacations i.e. Onam and Christmas vacations. The school works for 5 days a week. Teachers may conduct classes on Saturday as and when necessary.It is mandatory for the students to attend these classes.

School Transport

School buses are available for transportation of students from within a radius of 10Kms, covering Valiyapadam, Kalpathy, Moothanthara, Civil Station, Nurani, Thirunellai, Poodur, Edathara and Parli. However, the routes are fixed at the beginning of each academic year according to turn up of students from different areas. The bus fees will be collected two months in advance i.e. June, August ,October,December & February five times in an academic year. If fees are not paid before 10th of each mentioned month, the student will not be permitted to use the transport.
